A finish

I finished Fresh Watermelon by Little House Needleworks. It took me a bit to even get a picture of it, and it has taken me even longer to actually write a blog post. Between work, my dogs, and gardening, I do not have much free time. On the plus side, I have lots of little cucumbers that will be ready to pick :)

This one was a cute, summery, finish. I like the beads that were used to make the ants :)

Last night I finished When Witches Go Riding by Prairie Schooler. Hopefully I will get my blog updated sometime next week with pictures of that one. I also picked Lady Hera back up! I am working on the peacock. She will be my next finish. Well, that is my goal anyway :)

Moyland Castle Update

I hope everyone is having a great weekend!

I finally worked on Moyland Castle. Yay! And I made some decent progress. I put off filling in some of the border on the top left corner. It has a lot of 3/4 stitches, and they are such a pain. So, I am saving that part for later.

Right now I am working on Fresh Watermelon, and I hope to have it finished off this week. After that, my plan is to finish When Witches Go Riding. I am trying to clear out some of my works in progress. Hopefully they will go quickly, so I can start Gigi by Nora Corbett. I love Halloween, and I was quite excited when I found out that she is releasing six witches :)

A finish!

I finished Take me out to the Ballgame by Little House Needleworks this weekend. Yay! I started it two years ago, so I am glad it is done. It will be a birthday present for hubby who loves baseball :)

I started Fresh Watermelon also by Little House Needleworks because I wanted a small pattern to take with me when we go up to Boston to visit our friends later this month. In the meantime, I am going to continue working on Moyland Castle and Lady Hera, both of which I have not touched in ages! Below, you can see where I left off on each of them.

Framed Morning Glory

I picked Morning Glory up from the framer last week. I love the way she turned out! The top mat has some texture to it, but it is kind of hard to see in the picture.

Morning Glory Finish

I finished Morning Glory last weekend!

She is stitched on 32 ct ivory jobelan with the called for threads and beads. I love the way she turned out! These pixies are quite adorable, and I want to stitch more :) Alas, I have a couple of other WIPs that need some love.

I took the pictures early this morning-sorry for the shadows.

I dropped her off at the framer today. She will be a gift to hubby's mom, and I am excited that I have one Christmas present done.

Up next is Take Me Out to the Ballgame by Little House Needleworks. I started this one-gasp!-2 years ago. It will be for hubby's office, and it is about time I finished it up. I am also going to continue working on Moyland Castle for the Stitching Bandits Chatelaine Challenge. This Chatelaine has been put up since summer 2012.

March IHSW

I hope everyone had a great weekend. I cleaned, worked with the dogs, and managed to get a little stitching done. Yay!

I have finished cross stitching (well mostly) Morning Glory. Next up is beading and finishing a few random stitches here and there. I am quite pleased with how she is turning out. Hopefully I can finish the beading this week and then drop her off at the framer :)
